Small Business Banking Partnership Program

In April 2011, Leader Bank participated in the Small Business Banking Partnership program. The SBBP is a program between Massachusetts banks and the Massachusetts Department of Treasury, designed to spur small business lending and promote job creation.

In the nine months since its inception - through December 31, 2011 - Leader Bank has closed 34 loans for $5,605,000 through the SBBP. These loans have helped to create 134 jobs in Massachusetts.
