Jim Gudenau
Bio
Jim is the 1031 Exchange Manager, Eastern U.S. for Leader1031.com, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leader Bank, N.A,. Jim joined Leader1031 in 2022 to focus on expanding the company’s Qualified Intermediary (QI) services nationally and is responsible for marketing the company’s QI business to CPAs and attorneys as well as real estate agents, brokers and investors. He has lectured nationally on tax-deferred exchanges since 2003, and currently teaches continuing education classes in several states. Prior to joining Leader1031, Jim provided similar services for more than 20 years at several other institutional QIs including a national title company and two regional financial institutions, giving him extensive experience with all types of exchanges. He is a graduate of Wayne State University (MBA 1998, Master of Science in Taxation 2005), and is an active member of RPLS, MICPA, MLTA, ICSC, CREW, Michigan Realtors, and the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA).
