Howard Tarlow is Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Real Estate Officer at Leader Bank, bringing more than 50 years of banking experience and a proven track record of building successful commercial real estate lending platforms throughout Greater Boston.
Before joining Leader Bank, Howard served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Real Estate Officer at Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, where he led a team of 40 lending and support professionals and drove significant growth to the bank's commercial real estate portfolio.
Howard's experience also includes senior leadership roles at Century Bank & Trust Company, Haymarket Co-operative Bank, and Capitol Bank & Trust Company, where he developed expertise in commercial lending, portfolio management, risk assessment, and bank operations. Throughout his career, he has combined strategic leadership with disciplined credit management, earning a reputation for helping institutions achieve sustainable growth while maintaining strong asset quality.
Howard studied economics and accounting at the University of Massachusetts Boston. His extensive market knowledge, industry relationships, and decades of lending experience make him a trusted advisor to commercial real estate clients across Massachusetts and beyond.
