Bio

Vikas Selhi has 20+ years of experience in financial industry.

Vikas Selhi joined Leader Bank in 2007 and has been one of the banks' top producers since. He has been in the mortgage industry for almost two decade and prides himself on his strong production and customer first approach.  Vikas, a dynamic professional, having a core competency in sales & and marketing, takes an educational approach to lending and ensures that expectations are set up front and that customers fully understand the process. “My approach makes clients happy, and happy clients refer more business”    

Vikas was formally educated in India where he earned his MBA.  After school Vikas joined a multi-national Bank in India where he learns the practical application of his studies. In 2007 he migrated to the United States and join Leader Bank in the same year; after joining Leader Bank he found his passion for lending. Vikas’ personal production is very strong – Vikas has closed over $1.3 Billion in loan Production.  In addition to his own staggering personal production Vikas oversees a team of Loan Officers in his sales manager role and has used his experience to help create and foster a successful environment on Leader’s corporate Loan Officer team. 

Parallel to managing in-house team, Vikas also manages the channel of Home Equity line. It was a new initiative taken under his management and HELOC team was able to originate 5X volume Year on Year. Along with this initiative he also successfully trained new LO's and guide them to pursue successful career in Lending industry.

Though Residential loans is his core strength, but he also does commercial lending for his clients, it is a very unique skill set to carry both side of the lending worlds provide one stop solution for investors.

Documentation

Rate Lock & Appraisal

Once we’ve discussed the loan amount, the type of loan, and the rate that’s best for you, it’s time to lock in your rate and order your appraisal.

Underwriting & Approval

Our underwriting team will review and issue a decision detailing any conditions necessary for final loan approval.

Clear to Close

Once we have cleared necessary conditions our underwriting and closing team will make final preparations to close.

Closing

Loan documents are delivered to the closing attorney. The attorney will contact you to arrange a signing.

Funding

Once the signed documents are returned and reviewed, the closing attorney will request a wire transfer of the loan funds.
