Leader Bank Sponsors Arlington Celebrations of the 250th Anniversary of Patriots’ Day
Leader Bank was proud to sponsor the 250th Patriots’ Day celebrations in Arlington, with events spanning the month of April to commemorate the town’s historic role in the American Revolution and culminating in a reenactment of the Battle of Menotomy on April 20th.
Leader Bank team members helped plan and volunteered at several events which brought the entire community together throughout the month including a kickoff event at the Capitol Theater, the Menotomy Beer Hall at Arlington Town Hall, Arlington Restaurant Week, and the Battle of Menotomy reenactment where the Bank hosted activities for children and families at Leader Plaza at 864 Massachusetts Avenue. The Bank also covered the cost of tours at the Jason Russell House throughout the weekend.
“One of Leader Bank’s core values is giving back to the community, and supporting such a meaningful event for the Town of Arlington is a perfect example of this value in action,” said Jay Tuli, President of Leader Bank. “It was a thrill to see so many members of our community come together to mark such a historic occasion.”
At Arlington Town Hall’s Menotomy Beer Hall, Leader Bank team members hosted a booth where the first 250 guests received a commemorative mug featuring Arlington’s 250th Patriots’ Day logo. The Bank also hosted a free photobooth at the event which featured historical music performances and games.
Leader Plaza served as a prime viewing location for the Battle of Menotomy reenactment and was a hub of activity with facepainting, games, a DJ, and giveaways for kids including gift bags and foam tri-corner hats.
